5 Tips for Planning an Event During a Pandemic
Tip 1. With the continuous changes that comes with Covid-19 regulations, always have a plan B. Whether you decide to postpone your event or make the required changes to proceed to have a smaller private event, it is important to establish a plan B in order to not find yourself making last minute decisions.
Tip 2. Once the difficult decision is made, take immediate action to contact the necessary people and/or vendors to be able to explore what options they can provide. Be sure to read carefully any contract before agreeing to it, and feel free to ask what their Covid-19 cancellation policy is.
Tip 3. If you decide to proceed with a smaller more intimate gathering be sure to explore ways to involve those who will not be able to attend physically. Many vendors and event venues are providing virtual tech set ups as a great way to still have everyone share the experience.
Tip 4. Since a big event may not be possible, consider different ways to reallocate your budget to give yourself and your guests an unforgettable experience. A great way is to rent our photo booth that allows your guests to have a printed keepsake or renting one of our stunning flower wall backdrops.
Tip 5. Consider all the risks associated with your event and take action to limit exposure. Keeping your health and those of your guests as top priority is important when considering all your options.
